Did you notice the Lincoln bible was closed? The second bible was also closed. Because, you know, he took the oath twice.
What exactly does this mean? I’m thinking he wanted to imply that one verse couldn’t cover what he wanted to say.
Or maybe it was closed because opening a book with gloves is very hard to do.
