- Frequency (Dennis Quaid! Action! Serial Killer! Ham Radios!)

- Drop Dead Gorgeous (Another Serial Killer! Another Beauty Pageant!): The only drawback is that after you watch the movie, you’ll want to speak in a Minnesotean accent.
- St. Elmo’s Fire: Post-collegiates (Georgetown!) embark on journeys of self-discovery. (Also: Andrew McCarthy! Emilio Estevez! And the big-nostriled Judd Nelson. Seriously, his nostrils are huge!)
