Mockingbird Lane is reopening. And ahead of schedule. Seriously? This isn’t a joke?
To tell you the truth, I don’t remember a time where it wasn’t closed while I’ve been at SMU. Of course, I’ve only been in Dallas during the school year, and those first couple of months are a bit hazy… what with getting used to college and stuff.
I do remember, however, a fateful trip to Taylor Publishing in high school. I also remember passing by SMU and thinking “Pretty campus, but I’m not going to go to school there.”
Ah, the irony.
