One With Which to Contrast
For some reason, I seem to be posting a lot of videos lately. Whether that’s good or bad, I don’t know.
Life is getting a little monotonous now that school’s underway. Basically it’s school, work, sleep. Repeat as necessary.
Upcoming highlights? Let’s see… My sister’s going to become my first guest to spend the night in the charming prison cell. That’s also the weekend before Fall Break. So I’ll probably be going home.
That means road trip! Or, as much as a road trip I-20 can provide. It’s a pretty boring highway. There’s no big ball of twine or other attractions… although there is a Santaland/Christmas store that I haven’t visited. But I don’t know if it’ll be open.
After Fall Break (and before), it’ll be exams.
And then the next major happening is Halloween. During that time, the DC staff will be going to Kansas City, Missouri for a conference. This completely poo poos my plan of spending that night in the West Stacks (how awesome would that have been to blog about?).
But Kansas City shouldn’t be too bad. Maybe I’ll take a trip over to the Kansas side since I’ve never visited that state.
Then it’s more exams. And Thanksgiving!
Follow up with exams. Finals days of class. Final exams. Christmas Break!
That’s going to be a month-long break ending with my exciting trip to D.C. to see the inauguration and go to the UPIC conference (!!!!). Although, sadly, John Edwards is no longer speaking during the conference I’m going to. Why? I don’t know. What I do know is that his name was no longer listed right after the affair thing came out.
Which sucks. Who cares if he had an affair? That’s no reason to pull him from the conference! I can only hope there’s another, more important reason.
Because I was really looking forward to seeing him. Lance Armstrong I could care less about.
