The One About My Dorm
You knew it was coming, haha. But unfortunately I don’t have pictures just yet. My room isn’t finished.
To describe: My dorm room is small, yes. All dorm rooms are small. But I think if you took the square footage, it would be bigger than my half of the room in last year’s dorm.
SMU fancied up and painted one wall light blue with the rest beige. It goes nicely with my bedspread.
From my window, I can see the Meadows School of the Arts, in all its architectural glory. Whether or not they can see into my room remains a mystery. I imagine at night it’s entirely possible.
The perks from having a corner suite is that if ever there’s a fire, I’ll be one of the first ones out. (There’s a fire alarm in my room… people say it’s headache-wrenchingly efficient. Can’t wait for that 6am fire drill.)
